Food Scraps Turned into Burnable Methane Gas?

It is unfortunate to think but also true that here in the U.S. we waste a lot of food each and every day.  What if we told you you could turn that food waste into methane gas to power your stove to make more food?  What if we told you what is left as residual can be used as fertilizer in your garden to grow more food?  This what seems almost science fiction is being made possible in the near future by a company called  Indiegogo.  If you are interested to read more about the process feel free to read this article.  What do you think about this new technology?  Is it something you could see yourself using?  Let us know in the comment section.

Pastoral Cheese and Wine Resturant / Store up and Running in Andersonville

The Pastoral gourmet shop has opened its fifth location in Andersonville in late October.  The shop includes a restaurant and a retail store for you to purchase your cheese and wine fixes.  This store is different from the rest in that it has Swedish delicacies to choose from.  The reason for this is the area has recently been losing most of its Swedish locations.  The store even has mustard on tap!  What do you think of that?  Have you visited any of their other locations before?  Tell us about your experience below!

Muslims, Christians held interfaith picnic in Tennessee

In late October the Murfreesboro Muslim Youth founder Abdou Kattih and Murfreesboro Cold Patrol member Jason Bennett held an interfaith picnic in Murfreesboro, TN.  Both groups work on assisting the homeless.  The picnic itself was free and open, to not only the Christian and Muslim faith but, to all faiths.  Have you ever been a part of anything similar to this?  Religion is always a heated topic so what are your thoughts on this picnic?  Should there be more picnics like this one or do you think the picnic did not go well?
